Darius Rucker Surprises Veteran With New House
Country music star Darius Rucker went on the Today Show to talk about his new tour. He ended up surprising an unsuspecting veteran with gifts; tickets to his concert and a new house.
Rucker brought the veteran, Daniel Branham, along with him to give him tickets to his upcoming concert, but Branham was even more surprised when General Leeroy Cisco came out from backstage to give him another surprise.
Cisco runs the Military Warrior Support Foundation, which helps military families with needs that they may have, such as scholarship money for school or even giving them a house.
Rucker explained that they were going to be giving away 11 homes on his tour and he wanted Branham to receive the first one. After presenting the excited Branham with a key to his new house, Cisco mentioned that this was the 651st house that the Military Warrior Support Foundation has given away.
To brighten Branham's day even more, Rucker told him that the new house was completely paid for. He wouldn't have to worry about a mortgage anymore. Even cooler, Rucker will be his neighbor!
