Dad Loses Weight To Save Daughter's Life
When she was only 5 months old, Jasmine needed a liver transplant. Shortly after she was born in April 2012, she was diagnosed with biliary atresia — a condition that occurs when the liver’s bile duct is blocked or absent. He also had liver problems, but his condition (fatty liver disease) would be made harmless to Jasmine if he got healthier.
