Celebrities Unwittingly Teach Kids Proper Grammar Through Twitter
Celebrities may not always be the best role models for kids, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to be learned from them. Celebrities on twitter are helping kids in a Brazilian school learn grammar and spelling, albeit unintentionally. Though the numerous syntax errors made by stars in their daily updates on Twitter make them subpar role models for children, they provide a fantastic opportunity in teaching them how to proofread. To that end, the Red Balloon School in Brazil has started its Celeb Grammar Cops program for kids ages 8-13, wherein students follow their favorite celebrities' tweets and edit any mistakes the stars may have made.
