Celebrities Open Up About What They Are Thankful For

When you focus on all the things you are grateful for, it helps you lead a happier, healthier life. Author and journalist Janice Kaplan agrees! Her latest book, "The Gratitude Diaries" features several stars who open up and share what they are thankful for. By hearing what other people are grateful for it can prompt us to feel happy and grateful, too!

Stars such as Chris Pratt, Julia Roberts and Will Arnett tell Janice what they are thankful for in their lives. You may think celebrities have it all and can take it for granted. But these stars show us that they are just like us and thank their lucky stars for all they have.

"I hit my knees every day and express gratitude. My life is incredible," Kelsey Grammar expresses.

'I write 10 things I am grateful for every day. And I always start with my kids," Will Arnett says.

"I stop and pinch myself all the time. I think, 'Wow, look what I have been able to be a part of.' I try never to feel too comfortable with it," is something Chris Hemsworth tells Janice.

Janice herself says, "I realized how it important it is to express it (gratitude) but how bad we are at doing it. We all say we are grateful but we never remember to tell people we are grateful for them."

She is hoping her new book will help us work at this. She also hopes it will help us change how we look at our entire day(s). I know I am going to start listing my gratitude!

Healthy Recipes From Twin Sisters Who Care - Lasagna Soup

** OGTV celebrates National Lasagna Day with Joy and Judy, twin sisters from a large Italian family who love to take their favorite recipes and serve them up with a healthy spin. **

When most of us think of our favorite family recipes or holiday classics, we do not necessarily think of healthy food. Casseroles, biscuits, cheesy and buttery and fried bites tend to dominate discussions of "comfort food." Well, twin sisters Joy and Judy from our original series Twin Sisters, Love & Cooking! are trying to develop a different, healthier style of comfort food, and this scrumptious Lasagna Soup recipe is a perfect example!

Joy and Judy were inspired to re-work their Italian family's favorite recipes into healthier versions after Judy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Fortunately, today, Judy is a survivor, and the twin sisters get to spend tons of quality time together—especially in the kitchen.
