Cancelled Wedding Means Fancy Dinner For The Homeless
Life isn't perfect. Bad, sad, unfortunate things are going to happen... but it's how we deal with them that really matters. After 27-year-old Quinn's fiance called off their wedding, her family knew what they had to do. While Quinn never imagined this would happen, her mother stepped in and did what she could to turn it around.
Quinn's mother, Kari Duane, decided to donate the 120 meals to the homeless. They opened the banquet hall at Sacramento’s Citizen Hotel to the homeless. While many people were happy that night, it was too difficult for Quinn to be there; so she stayed home with friends.
“I feel a lot of heartache and heartbreak for her, but I will take away something good from this, I will,” Kari Duane said.
