California Attorney Leaves $800,000 To Shelter Cats
San Rafael, California real estate attorney Brian Russell Kirchoff showed his love for cats when he left a large portion of his $1 million estate to the care of cats.
According to the Marin Independent Journal, Kirchoff's will set aside $800,000 to the Marin Humane Society to be used for cats in the society's care. A former colleague of Kirchoff told the Journal that she wasn't surprised by Kirchoff's gift.
"That doesn't surprise me at all," the staffer said. "He had a passion for cats."
Kirchoff owned two cats Chelsea and Tarka. To read more of the story click here.
