British Advertisement Shows How Words Can Make A World Of Difference
A blind beggar gets a random adjustment to his sign--a gift that keeps on giving. Simply reading, "Please help, I'm blind," the man's sign didn't attract much attention, or generosity. A mysterious, green-shoed woman notices and says the same thing, but with a little more poetry: "It's a beautiful day and I can't see it."
The scene is fabricated, but the message is valuable in fiction and in reality: life is precious; we should enjoy it, and we should share that joy with others, especially those who aren't fortunate to enjoy it on their own.
