Boy In Wheelchair Has Simple, Humble Make-A-Wish Request
Make-A-Wish Foundation has been granting many children’s wishes for years. While a lot of kids wish for a trip to Disney World or something of the sort, Kellen has a different idea.
Kellen Tilton, 3, has been paralyzed in a wheelchair since he was 6 months old. When he was approached by Make-A-Wish, they were taken back by his request. This special boy asked for a path he could travel on in his wheelchair to help his dad in the barn.
“It is a unique wish,” Make-A-Wish marketing director Sonya Purington said. “He wanted a path to the barn to help his dad." Even though it is difficult for little Kellen, this one wish will keep him in a brighter mood. More than half a dozen Maine business are assisting in construction of the path in their backyard and are even adding a new swing set. Many people are joining together to make sure Kellen has the path of his dreams!
