Artist Co-Creates Amazing Children's Books Written By Sick Kids
Most children with serious illness will not become doctors, or gymnasts, or firefighters. They are not, however, any less capable of using their imaginations.
Graphic artist and photographer, Dallas Graham believes that because of their limitations, they behold a kind of creative power that not many others know.
The Red Fred Project explores the talents of these kids, and gives them a chance to tell their stories in their own, original children's book.
Graham and the Red Fred Project team hope to collaborate with one sick child in each of the 50 states.
In exchange for their stories, Graham will hand them the finished product and say, "Way to go! You've published a story; you've created a book." For more information, check out http://redfredproject.com/.
