Anissa Christal

Anissa Christal is the owner of A. Christal Production; LLC and a freelance video producer extraordinaire.

Some of her clients include SONY Electronics, AOL, Rolling Stone Magazine, celebrity correspondent Robin Leach, national tech correspondent Mario Armstrong, and sparkling water brand San Pellegrino just to name a few.

Her skills range from live TV broadcast, to reality shows, to news magazine as well as short form programming on any platform.

She most recently produced “The Best of CES 2013 with Mario Armstrong” that aired in 4 major markets (LA, Chicago, New York, Miami) as well as national distribution on Direct TV.

Also, she just wrapped a multi-episode project with SONY, which she produced along with Prowerks Media Group. It consisted of 30 (:90 sec) segments of various Sony products that were distributed online on websites such as Amazon.com, bestbuy.com, and other big box online retailers.

She has worked on top reality shows like Bravo’s “Top Chef”, Food Network’s “Throwdown with Bobby Flay”, “World Poker Tour,” FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen” and “So you think you can dance.”

Anissa also has experience on working on live award shows such as The Billboard Music Awards, NHL Awards, and American Country Awards. She also produces numerous live satellite media tours throughout the year, that air across the country.

She has even worked on big budget commercials for NIKE with Academy Award nominated director Antoine Fuqua, and internationally aired commercials for BMW/Mini Cooper (3D).

Anissa graduated from UNLV earning a B.A. in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Television Broadcasting. While attending UNLV, she was recommended to the ABC affiliate KTNV Channel 13 where she successfully began her career. Within months, Anissa worked her way to Associate Producer writing voice-overs, packages and produced live cut-ins four times a day during Good Morning America. Ultimately, Anissa was promoted to line producing her own hour.

She also garnered experience in breaking news and satellite remotes, and produced a weekly public affairs show including everything from local politics to the Las Vegas entertainment scene.

Anissa was producing the morning show on September 11, 2001 during the attacks on the U.S. and also produced the 5pm newscast the first day the US-Iraq war broke out.

Anissa was eventually recruited to produce the morning show at the Las Vegas Fox affiliate – KVVU FOX 5 where she was producing a daily 2-hour live show in a collapsible format. She served as a celebrity/show booker as well as line producer for the morning show including producing live segments for makeovers, in-studio cooking demonstrations, live satellites with celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Donald Trump, Smokey Robinson, Paula Abdul, and the American Idol Finalists -- as well as breaking national & local news.

During this time, Anissa also acted as field producer for Robin Leach’s entertainment pieces and produced numerous EXCLUSIVE 4-part pieces with celebrities like Gloria Estefan, Jessica Simpson, Michael Jackson, and Wolfgang Puck.

During her tenure there, KVVU FOX 5 her morning show was nominated for an Emmy for best morning newscast, and won an EMA (Electronic Media Awards) for best morning newscast in 2003/2004.

She also produced a 1-hour special with Robin Leach for the San Pellegrino “Almost Famous Chef Competition” at Mandalay Bay. After leaving FOX5, she was hired by Robin Leach to pursue producing entertainment programming. She joined Robin at the flagship UHF station KVTE Vegas 35 where she produced promos, show opens, designed graphics and was responsible for producing 4 shows:

♣Backstage Secrets (behind the scenes at the hottest shows in town),

♣Vegas 24-7: a Vegas-centric “Entertainment Tonight” type show

♣Vegas Business – financial show regarding the Vegas gaming industry, including daily market watch.

♣Counter Intelligence: Cooking show with the most high profile chefs in Las Vegas

Anissa is also currently working on a pilot project with Robin Leach where she is co-executive producing, as well as a documentary that is co-produced with Prowerks Media Group that is in pre-production
