Tennis Program Helps Underserved Teens Develop Resilience On and Off the Court

Tennis is a popular and fun pastime, in that it requires mental focus and athletic ability. But due to the cost of equipment and court time, lots of kids never get the chance to try their hand at the sport. Leaders of the Junior Tennis Champion Center (JTCC) recognized this cost challenge, and decided to do something to change it. In 2009, JTCC launched a Community Outreach initiative, with the goal of introducing underserved kids in Prince George's County, MD, and Washington, DC to tennis. Never Too Old To Love: Music Video About Lovable Senior Dogs

You may be familiar with the challenges that many senior dogs face. They are often overlooked in shelters, as many people prefer to adopt puppies, and yet as they experience age-related changes like diminished senses and strength, they become more dependent on humans. We consider ourselves so fortunate to have friends who are dedicated to helping provide love to senior dogs in need. It was with some of those friends that we produced this music video for an original song called "Never Too Old to Love."
