About us

One night, I had enough of the overwhelming, bad news bombarding our channels 24/7! My wife and I decided that it was simply not healthy to watch such negative information before going to sleep. In a quest for more balance in the reporting of what goes on in the world, Only Good News was born.

Created to deliver the antidote, the mission of the company's HooplaHa studio is to deliver the most heartwarming and uplifting videos to make you feel good. I teamed with Rob Hess, one of the top storytellers from the broadcast entertainment industry, to chronicle the Positive Movement, which unites and connects those of us that believe in the best of mankind.
We are committed to providing a hopeful narrative on humanity and develop original videos of individuals and organizations who believe in paying it forward, that kindness does make a difference, and that happiness correlates to good health. We discover great accounts about real people and shine the spotlight on those whose actions have a positive social impact.
We invite you to join us in celebrating those who are doing things to build a better world, inspiring others through their efforts to overcome adversity, and effecting good work throughout communities around the globe. Share our stories with your world and send us yours so that together we can make a difference.

We believe that there is always hope as long as there are good people in the world.
