Twelve Years in the Making: A Father’s Sentimental Gift to His Daughter on Her Graduation Day
It's the little moments that count.
Graduating high school is a huge milestone in life; it's the first step towards the real world. For young adults it may be an exciting time, but for parents it's quite possibly terrifying. People cherish these "golden years" through several methods, some people may take pictures, while others choose to buy a yearbook, but Kevin Scruggs decided to capture a heartfelt video.
Kevin Scruggs, a life coach and pastor from Seattle posted this video, "Twelve Grades of "First Day" Interviews - Happy Graduation Sweetheart", on June 10th to commemorate his daughter Mackenzie's graduation. With the help of his coworker/videographer T.J. McConahay, they compiled footage of Mackenzie's first day of school for 12 years!
From struggling to remember her age in first grade, to talking about student council in the 5th grade, Kevin captures the little moments in his daughter's life.

Each year Kevin interviews Mackenzie by asking her what she's learned and what she's done. From coloring in 1st grade to talking about how much homework she had in 4th to complaining about taking the bus in 9th grade to having excitement for prom and graduation in 12th Grade. Kevin creates a priceless sentimental video of his daughter's growth from year to year.
