99-Year-Old Woman Makes Over 840 Dresses For Needy Girls In Africa
Lillian Weber is a woman with a huge heart and crafty hands. The 99-year-old woman from Iowa makes one dress a day, from scratch, for Little Dresses for Africa, a Christian nonprofit that distributes dresses to impoverished young girls in Africa and beyond. Lillian has made over 840 dresses to date. Her goal is to make 1000 by the time she turns 100. She says she does not plan on stopping there! “When I get to that thousand[th dress], if I’m able to. I won’t quit," she told WQAD-TV. "I’ll go at it again." Lillian shows us what it is truly like to be selfless and giving.
