95 year old weight lifter
Merrill Matzinger proves it's never too late in life to get into shape.
It’s ok to be outdone at the gym by some young whippersnapper, but how would you feel if someone twice your age did twice your reps? Born May 10, 1925, Merrill Matzinger just turned 95 and still hits the gym every day. And he’s not one of those guys who goes to the gym to use the sauna; the nonagenarian does 1,500 sit-ups and has only missed one day in the last 20 years. That’s 10,965,000 sit-ups.
When he goes to the doctor he gets “compliments rather than prescriptions”. Nonagenarian? More like ‘non-ager’. He’s nearly a century old and is in shape as a Centurion. How weak-sauce do your excuses not to go to the gym sound now?
