89-Year-Old Veteran Makes Big Touchdown In Alumni Game
This video has made me a football fan. Well, that is if Bryan Sperry is playing! The 89-year-old former University of Kansas football player made a touchdown during an alumni game.
At 17, Sperry went to play football at Kansas State. Unfortunately, the veteran's schooling was cut short by World War II. He eventually returned home in 1946 and headed straight to tryout for the Kansas team. Sperry finished his career in 1948.
He returned to the field to relive his glory days! At the recent alumni game, players much younger than him deliberately missed tackles to allow Sperry to get a touchdown! They celebrated with hugs and pats on the back. He is the cutest football player ever!
