7-Year-Old Makes Touching Video For Friend Who Lost Everything
After Kollin's best friend lost eveything in a house fire, he knew he had to do something. Kollin and his mom took to Facebook and asked for help. They posted this video that went viral and the results have been astounding, with more than $8,000 donated to a “Go-Fund-Me” page for the Branson’s in the first 5 days.
Kollin starts the video by saying "I want to make a difference." In just 30 seconds we already learn so much from this young, yet wise boy. Friendship means everything. Selfless people make the world a better place. Helping other people is the greatest thing a person can do.
The support that comes with true friendship makes it possible to cope through tragedy and heartbreak. This proves to be true for a set of friends who's friendship was put to work after a horrible ordeal rocked their world.
A massive fire put over 30 people out of their homes at Norwood Court apartments in Normandy, MO. Ryan Branson lost everything. His best friend Kollin Clark was there for his buddy and offered support. The Branson's lost everything, including the important stuff, according to the 7-year-old, all his toys!
“He said, ‘mommy my friend Ryan at school, his house is gone,’ ” said Kollin’s mother, Jessica Clark. “’You know it really makes me sad. Can you tell all the Facebook people that Ryan needs new Ninja Turtles?’”
He accomplished what he set out to do. With his help, the Branson family can begin rebuilding their life. We can learn so much from this wonderful little boy.
