15 Photos That Will Make You Want To Play In The Mud
Every year, thousands of tourists flock to the South Korean city of Boryeong for the annual Boryeong Mud Festival on Daecheon Beach. It attracts more tourists than any other attraction or event in South Korea and it isn't hard to see why. Children of all ages can join in some honest-to-goodness dirty fun in the world's greatest mud puddle. Wrestling, sliding, and of course, splashing are among the activities people can partake in.
Apparently, the mud in Boryeong has healthy properties in it that, when applied in ample amounts, can give you clearer skin (the irony!). So, you're able to let loose your inner child, and have a fabulous complexion as a reward. Sign me up.
This year's festival (in its 16th year) will run from Friday July 19th to Sunday July 28th.
Take it from these guys, it might be worth the trip.
